Excerpt:
There was that cold breeze again.
The cover bore the same symbol as the spine, but in more detail. Ivy examined the symbol of the woman, noticing the expression on her face. It was somehow blank and angry at the same time. I should put the book back. But if she never opened it, she'd never find out what it contained.
Ivy put her hand on the cover.
Her heart thudding against her chest, she slowly opened it.

A short story I wrote for school. The genre is supposed to be "suspenseful story" so idk if that really matches, but whatever.

Mischief
- Book #1 of 'Mischief' series - "If only I had just minded my own damn business for once and didn't blow up that stupid drug lab, then I would never have gotten myself into this situation to begin with..." I grumble to myself as I sink a little lower behind the car door with a sigh. It is inevitable, I am going to die. I quickly huddle into a ball as a bullet flies through the window, resulting in the glass shattering down onto my head, "Okay, c'mon guys. That was just bloody rude!" • • • 17 year old Ivy Munroe had no idea what she was getting herself into when she walked into a small, abandoned warehouse owned by the notorious gang leader of 'The Kings', but what she did ended with her being shipped off to a boarding school for troubled youth, and she assumed that would be the end of her trouble. She thought wrong. Someone is chasing her. She's running. It's a fucked-up - but simple - game of hide-and-seek... Or is it? Her roomie isn't who he says he is, and there are factors from his past which could ruin their friendship... Or bring them closer than ever before. • • • ⚠️ MATURE CONTENT ⚠️ - explicit language - graphic and violent moments - steamy scenes 😉 (I will give warnings at the beginning of chapters for the last two, but if these are things that you aren't comfortable reading about, this probably isn't the book for you ❤️)Complete

But, when she starts to receive strange letters from someone, what will she do to stop it? A/N: So I wrote this a long time ago and I just wanted to post it cause it was my first ever finished book. Its grammar is sucky because I wrote it before I learned grammar properly, and I may never continue to write book 2 of this series (fair warning), but I wanted to let anyone who wished to read it be able to.Complete

SHE
Ivy's life is far from extraordinary-working a mundane job in a small record shop and dreaming of something more. She's always been drawn to music, especially Harry Styles, the enigmatic rockstar whose lyrics seem to echo the desires she keeps hidden. On a whim, Ivy snags a front-row ticket to Harry's sold-out show in her city, wanting to feel a spark of something real. The concert is electrifying, but during the performance of his hauntingly beautiful song She, something shifts. Harry's gaze lands on her in the crowd, and it doesn't falter. His intense focus is palpable, and Ivy feels as though the lyrics are meant for her. After the show, Ivy is shocked when she's escorted backstage, where Harry is waiting for her. Harry is charming yet mysterious, his demeanor hinting at secrets he carefully guards. Ivy is drawn to his charisma but quickly notices cracks in his perfect rockstar image. He speaks of "her" with a mix of longing and pain, leaving Ivy to wonder if She is real or a figment of his imagination. As Ivy and Harry spend more time together, their connection deepens, but Ivy begins to uncover a darker side of his world. Beneath the fame and glamour lies something dangerous-hidden dealings, debts owed, and enemies waiting in the shadows. Ivy must decide if her feelings for Harry are worth the risk, especially as she begins to suspect that She is more than just a song. Is She a lost love Harry can't let go of? A symbol of the life he wishes he had? Or something far more sinister? As Ivy unravels the truth, she realizes that falling for Harry Styles might change her life forever-but not in the way she expected.
