Gideon Saint is dying for something exciting to happen in his life. With his love of history, he figures an internship at the museum has to be a good start, right? Anything is better than listening to his parents argue or sitting alone in his room doing research no one but him seems to care about. A chance encounter with a magical ring leaves him transported to an alternate version of ancient Wales, or as it was sometimes called, Cambria. 1432 Wales, to be exact. Here magic is the most powerful weapon of all as kings vie for power. Good thing Gideon's teleportation from the present has also left him with the ability to use magic, and he's quickly regarded as a powerful wizard. In this timeline, Wales maintained it's independence, but that's about to change. Henry V is on the throne of the England, and the greatest warrior king England has ever had has set his sights on Wales. Can Gideon help save his newfound friends and master his new powers, while living a double life in the 21st century? Ahem, living people die, dying people live, Henry V is here and he's awesome despite being the main antagonist, everybody is vaguely gay, swords are described in loving detail, people are not, lovely platonic friendships, did we mention swords? Yes, you may learn something about history, but that's a risk you'll have to take. Basically, think of this as a Percy Jackson type of adventure, but it's historical fiction instead of Greek gods. The narrator is 15 and the major supporting characters are 14, 17, and 19. That said, there's nothing in the way of content that's inappropriate for a younger reader. As always if you're not here to go on a fun little adventure find a different story. Trigger/Content: very mild language, some magic violence, fantasy violence. Self-harm is briefly discussed. Adoption issues are discussed as well as brief scenes of a abusive family. Characters briefly mention crushes and or dating, no real innuendos.

Who will pay the ultimate price and grant a soul for tomorrow? ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Hey all!! DISCLAIMER: This is a story I wrote in 2008 and it's the very first story that I wrote and finished when I started writing so I still have the whole story saved for the memories. But I recently discovered Wattpad thanks to a few lovelies (you all know who you are... *ahem* thanksgiving *ahem* ;) ) and I've decided to get back into writing. This story has a lot of meaning to me so I do intend to publish the whole story. I have published this story on the internet already on two different sites so if you do see it, just note that no, I didn't steal this story off someone else, I promise! :) If you are interested in seeing the unedited versions from 6 years ago, I'd be more than happy to send you the link via PM. In all honesty though, I have made a few embellishments. Nothing major, just the vocabulary really but the plot and characters are all completely the same. However, if you haven't read the unedited versions in the first place thenjust enjoy :P How often I update this story will be up to you guys and your feedback. If I get a positive response, then the next chapter will be up much sooner. All feedback is appreciate, even the baddies! :) Enjoy! Love you all E. Reignheart ~<3~

So, when a tutor from the prestigious Amber Cove Academy appears, Seraphina disguises herself as a Stain; a member of the slave race controlled by magically gifted Ethereals. Thanks to years of Stain and Ethereal relations, it isn't uncommon for Stains to have powers of their own. Because of this, every year, tutors from Amber Cove travel the country in search of champions to attend the academy. This year, Seraphina is one of the champions. Soon, Seraphina finds herself in the competitive world of the Academy, where no one is truly your friend and image and reputation are everything. Seraphina has to learn quickly how to fit in, her survival in the Ethereal world depends on it. Of course, that is easier said than done when Ethereals refuse to treat the Stain champions with any respect. School bullies are the least of Seraphina's problems, however. The longer she stays at the Academy, the longer strange things start to happen. Whispers in the walls, strange visions, and students getting injured can only be the cause of a darkness that plagues the halls of the Academy which is somehow linked to Seraphina. To make matters worse the gods that watch over them are more active than ever and their cruelty knows no bounds. Seraphina finds herself thrust into the middle of wars between strange and ancient entities. Secrets are unravelled, and the more Seraphina learns about her world and herself, the more the gods' eyes fall on her. Book One in the Amber Cove Academy Series. Updates on Saturdays
