Deceit and Patton have feelings for one another. They visit each other secretly, not wanting the other sides to know about their relationship out of fear. One day, the sides get suspicious. After Roman confronts Deceit, the snake does something he instantly regrets. What Deceit going to say about this giant misunderstanding?

Roman's barely able to save Patton in time to stop Morality from Going Dark, all the while his own time's running short. Whether he submits to the Darkening first, or he's forced to merge with Remus, if Logan and Virgil don't hurry, Roman will be a different person the next time they meet.
