NATHAN CHEN is a regular med student pressing through the end of his junior year and the rapidly approaching but all so important MCAT's. What he wants is to be back out on the ice, but the fact that he just briefly escaped paralysis has left him with more scars than he cares to admit.
VINCENT ZHOU is the biggest name in the ice skating world. The nearly impossible quad-axle is secured under his belt, and everyone is watching him as the 2022 Olympics approach. But, despite his denial, the excessive pressure and high expectations are slowly causing him to crack.
When their two lives clash, it's impossible for the two of them not to feel envious of the other, but as their guards fall down, will they be able to find a sense of stability in a mess too complex for them to understand?
