Kasen Wells was new to the whole "leader of the pack" thing. After his father had been killed so abruptly, he had been rushed into becoming Alpha, and was still unsure of himself. He was sure, however, that the first thing he needed to do was get revenge.

Reed Weston had been rotting in a cell for four years before he was saved by a warring pack. But silence had been the only way to stay safe the past four years, so when he wants nothing more than to thank his savior, he doesn't know what to do.

When Kasen discovers the broken omega locked up underground, he almost looses himself to the smell of what could only be his mate: the smell of rain and vanilla.
