What defines reality? The question of how one determines what is real has been a popular one for many years. Of course, most people would prefer to escape reality rather than define it. Unfortunately, that was never what the VRMMO Sword Art Online was meant to be, and its ten thousand players are about to realize just how thin the line between the real and virtual world is. (Y/N) (L/N) was no different; a drifter looking for more in life and finding it in places beyond the physical possibilities of the real world. But he isn't ready for the road ahead, littered with fear, betrayal, pain, and death at every turn. The journey up Aincrad's 100 floors will force (Y/N) to grow, fight, and survive in ways he never imagined possible as he walks the tightrope life and death, building the courage to overcome himself and everything in his way while learning what it means to be truly alive.
