Why would fate make two people meet and fall in love when they were not meant to be. Dong Hua Dijun thinks he wrote his fate himself all those years ago, but fate has pride that she has to keep it intact.
Now Bai Feng Jiu is a queen and a strong High Immortal everything is changed in the last three hundred years, but what is not changed is Feng Jiu's Love for that old rock.
Eternal Love of a dream/pillow book is over and Our old kid Dong Hua Dijun and his Xiao Bai got the happy ending they deserve but I still think that the old Rock and his Jiu'er happy ending of Eternal Love/Ten miles of peach blossom are still due. And I am just continuing my version of their love story if they choose to fight fate.

This story will be based off of the drama Eternal Love: Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms. I love Mo Yuan and Bai Qian too much and their stories keep circling in my head with a bunch of what-ifs. In this instance, Bai Qian never helped seal Qing Cang's bell which sent her to the mortal realm where she met Ye Hua. This story takes place just as Mo Yuan is about to wake up and goes from there. I am not Chinese and I do not know all of the myths that are involved when it comes to this world. Please excuse me while I use some creative leeway that may not make complete sense as I try to fill in the blanks. Feng Jiu has been missing for over 20,000 years. Her family has been searching for her ever since they found out she has went missing. While Feng Jiu was missing she was going through a series of events, she started to wonder why all of this was happening to her. She finally realized that the series of events was to get her wings. Feng Jiu started to think and finally decided it was time to return home. As they were catching up there was a banquet being held at the nine palace for the Heavenly Lord's birthday. There she just happens to run into Donghua Dijun (he hasn't heard that she has returned). Ye Hua and Bai Qian are already married but Ye Hua still hasn't succeeded the throne yet. This will include a very serious Feng Jiu and she will be very independent and powerful, but she will be a little childish when she is around her loved ones. She also has wings like Maleficent, and she will be a nine tailed phoenix fox. she can not hide her wings in human or fox form. Plus she will be able to turn into a phoenix. This story is about the birth and development of the best friendship between Donghua Dijun and his little fox. In my re-imagined story, I am attempting to give our beloved leads a genuine chance at love with their own thoughts, behaviors, and desires. Granted, life is full of misunderstandings, obstacles and karma. Donghua learns that being a heartless god has its consequences. Having been careless and inconsiderate with the hearts of those who had fawned over him, he'll find it difficult to fulfill his. At its very core, this is a character-driven story about healing from trauma and the growth of a deep and meaningful friendship. It also attempts to explore the coming of age of love and desire for each of them. Those who can't tolerate slow burns should avoid reading this story ;) They meet much later, (she never becomes his maid) and was not involved in the BQ/Su Su/YH situation. Xiao Bai is young and very innocent as this story unfolds. Donghua is arrogant and obtuse, though with more playfulness and tenderness in the style of The Pillow Book. His edges are much softer. There are quite a few characters from the original series. Zhe Yan, Mo Yuan, Bai Zhen, Bai Qian, Ye Hua, Lian Song, Si Ming and Zhong Lin will make appearances, plus others from Eternal Love and ELOD. Lust + desire will play a part of this story so mature themes/content in later chapters. Reader discretion advised. Story is also LGBTQ+ friendly, as am I.
