After the defeat of Father, Roy Mustang takes the task of getting Central back on its feet, and restoring the Ishvalans to their home with Riza Hawkeye at his side.

Over the course of years of knowing each other, and after the experience of almost losing Hawkeye, Roy finds himself at a dilemma. Of course he'd always had feelings for his lieutenant, but they've grown stronger. Riza finds herself in a similar predicament, unsure how to deal with her feelings.

Tension grows, and feelings are revealed. But of course nothing happens easily. No, of course not.

A mysterious alchemist appears. His intentions obviously not good. His face hidden, his identity unknown, and a huge grudge against Mustang. He targets the people closest to Mustang. And when things begin escalating between Roy and Riza, the hidden alchemist finds his opportunity for revenge.

And this is only the beginning.
