Virtually Acquainted

In our profession, pag hindi ka daw nakagraduate ng walang boyfriend, magdasal ka na, na sana wag kang tumandang dalaga. Kaya naman, Stacy is one of those people na tambay sa mga chatting/dating apps. At imbis na almost love na ang mahahanap nya, instant heartbreak ang sumalubong sa kanya.

What will happen if destiny played its part? Makikita pa rin kaya nya ang hinahanap nyang love kung ang taong pinagkatiwalaan nya virtually, ay may iba pa lang pagkatao in reality.

My phone beeps signaling that there is a new chat from him. My eyes watered the moment I saw the message he sent. I thought we're doing good. I thought we're friends. I thought he trusted me, but things get clearer and my eyes gets blurry because of tears. His message is so heart wrecking.
"I'm afraid you'll spill my secrets and I'm afraid it would harm my career." Seeing this from him makes me want to strangle him because ever since we chatted, I've always been honest and transparent. He always says that he likes me, that I'm the prettiest among the girls he knew. That's the time that I decided to let go 'coz I also figured out that all of the information he gave are all lies. But, what can I do? We are Virtually Acquainted.
