This is a fanfic about Padme if she had survived in Revenge of the Sith and how her presence could have effected the events following in A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. 
Disclaimer: I do not own Stars Wars or any of the characters in this fanfiction. I follow the plotlines of the movies I noted above and I do use a couple of excerps from the Revenge of the Sith screenplay adaptation storybook by Patricia C. Wrede, as well as some lines and excerps from the Star Wars movies. The ideas in this fanfiction are my own.

What if Ahsoka took care of Luke and Leia ? This story presents an alternative version of the conclusion of the Episode III of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. The idea to develop that story came in my head after seeing the gorgeous fanart made by the very talented arbor_draws on Instagram where Ahsoka holds with one hand Luke's and with the other Leia close to her chest. The pivotal moment is the duel on Mustafar between Vader and Obi-Wan. In this story, Anakin is victorious and brings Padme back with him to save her. Fron that moment, everything changes for the Skywalker family, and for those who are closed to them, especially Anakin's former padawan, Ahsoka Tano. To read this Fanart, you must have seen the Prelogy, but also the Siege of Mandalore Arc in Season 7 of Clone Wars. Some concepts are also developed in the Star Wars Rebels series. Please keep in mind that I'm trying as hard as I can to make the whole story enjoyable to read, but english is not my native language. If you have any comment to help me improve, I'll gladly take it :)

It was said before...dark times approach as the sun and the moon go by, and it was true. Everyone that could, as well as everyone that couldn't, were able to feel it somehow. That darkness felt like a knot in the throat, a tickle in the pit of the stomach, a shiver in the bones...and it felt closer. The Clone Wars continued to escalate and they seemed to have no end, our heroes grew tired everyday and wondered if this could be called "a life" anymore; their happiness seemed to last merely seconds, specially since the team no longer is what it once was. However, not everything is sadness, not everything is sorrow. There's also love, there's also happiness, and most importantly, there's hope. Hope that everything will get better, hope that there could be a bright future for the Galaxy and it's inhabitants. The questions that remained were if this light could defeat the darkness, if good could overcome evil, if people could remain happy, if love was really the strongest power, if angels could turn into demons and if those angels could defeat demons or if demons could turn back into angels. There's only one way to find out, by travelling through the second part of this story. We'll watch the Battle of the Heroes, we'll listen to the Duel of the Fates and we'll see if there's a New Hope. We'll see if good prevails or if it is defeated by the shadows once and for all.
