He just stood there. Looking at me. The way I had reacted had put him in a state of shock. "I... I um," Every word I had learned from pre-school to now had just flew out of my mind and left me speechless. "I should go." HI it's me! C'mon you know who this is! At least I hope you do because truth be told who I am anymore is a lot more of a complicated matter than I'd like it to be. It's all 'cause of him too, or maybe I'm just blaming the new guy for my newfound insecurities about her- about me I meant to say. Who am I kidding it doesn't matter what I say to you! You only exist in my head anyway! Maybe I really am going off the deep end.

"H-hey.. You know..." Work brain, work. "What?" he hisses. "Um... I-I think I need my inhaler. It's in the bag," great, nice move. But my hope shatters into pieces when he rummages through my bag instead. "Where the heck did you put it," he asks, or maybe states as he isn't looking at me. "NO. Just give me my freakin' bag. Fast!" I try one last time. And lucky enough, he gives up. He brings the bag to me hastily. I redeem it, throw it back on the 'other side' along with myself. I run for my life.
