Although she never found out he sexually abused me, she was aware that I was terrified of the man. Some time later my mom meets John and they fall in love. John was an amazing step father. He was there whenever I needed him same as his son, Jessee, who was just a year older than me. I think my life is finally something good and not just some nightmare, I swear nothing can be better than this.. or can it?
