Alexandra and Matthew cross paths during their navigation of early adulthood. They couldn't be more unalike. She has lived a life of deliberate social isolation to relentlessly study for that one-way ticket out of her small Southern town; he has lived a life of maintaining his reputation as the life of the party to compensate for his absent father. She had everything to lose and he had nothing, but university life has convinced them to switch things up. She wants a fast-paced adventure and he wants to slow it down.
