A Perspective from My Generation

It's been years, and slowly everything started to fall apart right in front of my eyes.

I don't know how long ago the cause, warnings, and signs had started, but we were too late to do anything.

Why didn't anyone listen to us when they had the chance? Were we too naive to believe they would heed our warnings or were they too stubborn and arrogant to think that maybe, we were right?

It's only Us now.

A lot of things could have been done to prevent this, but now we can't ponder on that.

I'll...no, we'll do our best to fix the mistakes of those before us, and hopefully, we will be wise enough to not make the same mistake.

You have the baby boomers, millennials and all those before that, but then you have Generation Z, those who were born at the time of the many global problems of the world. Despite their young age at the time, they were able to recognize many of the future endeavors they would have to face, but because of those in power, they had no proper voice.

While now they're left to deal with the problems of their ancestors, one individual is put into a life-changing position. While she figures out along with her peers how to fix things, she has to look back into the past and discover, what had gone wrong for it to turn out this way?
