Ease The Dawn

Confronted by her Christian ties and an unbroken marriage, she must find her way and navigate the storm of a dominating lover surrounded by wolves in sheep's clothing. Part 3 to Ease The Dawn is an alternate ending to Part 1 which picks up at the point in time of Ivars accident on the lake. A different story where their intimacy begins while still in camp. What if the legend of the nameless gods were true? Can there exist on earth a love so boundless that it reflects that of two deities? Ragnar, father of Ivar and his brothers, leads his children to a devastated village near Kattegat. Among the rubble of what remains of a house, little Ivar, only three years old, finds a baby girl still wrapped in swaddling clothes. She is taken to Kattegat, where she will grow up with the sons of Ragnar Lothbrok. But what fate awaits Ivar and the baby? Two best friends, bound by deep feelings, find themselves torn apart by betrayal: he betrays her, and she flees, helped by someone very close to Ivar. Ivar the Boneless. A name that brought fear to anyone who heard it. He was ruthless and cruel, lacked any sort of empathy. But a strong hearted, stubborn new girl was determined to not just be his wife that would bear him sons. No, she was determined to challenge him, prove to himself there was more then just power and hate. Would she be able to show him what love meant? Or would she crack under the pressure? Melti wanted nothing more then to go home. After promises were made between her father and Ivar the Boneless. She was stuck in Kattegat, with no friends or family. She did not wish to be another pawn to Ivar's plan but slowly the trauma and stories behind Ivar's past started to make sense to why he was the way he was. Even sharing her childhood stories with him, making there bond stronger. But he was playing a game of cat and mouse with her. Was everything he said true? Or was it all part of his sick game?
