Anna Carter and Alden Lane do not get along. At least that's what they tell themselves and everyone around them thinks. Despite all their arguing and bickering, the world seems determined to keep them around each other.
Anna Carter worked hard to earn her journalism degree. Now that she has it, she can't seem to find a job to use it. After countless job rejections, she takes up an offer to go to Palm Beach, Florida to cover the St. Louis Redbirds spring training season. The problem is she knows next to nothing about baseball.
Alden Lane is ready for a relaxing vacation in Florida before he starts his new job. He thought he was getting a break from the girl that drives him crazy, but now she's found her way onto the trip and she needs his help. Alden agrees to be her baseball informant, but he isn't sure he can hold back much longer. Not when he is positive that Anna is the one for him
