Plus they are both at the age where it would be appropriate to start having serious relationships and that is something that definitely sounds appealing to Gabriella. However she is far too nervous to tell Harry how she feels, and swears she never will but once he starts to show interest in someone else Gabriella begins to gain a bit of courage.
