After a major accident, Sherlock is left brain damaged due to lack of oxygen. His limbic system is almost completely dead creating an awful case of memory loss. John doesn't know what to do with a detective who can't detect, and Sherlock just doesn't know anything.

My addition to the fandom is out - and so is John. - In the year 1997, John Watson finds himself at an interview for a job he doesn't need, and then at the same location of a new university flatmate that he initially doesn't want. Meanwhile, Sherlock Holmes is trying to debunk the Scotland Yard's incorrect description of what is actually a group of mass-murders revolving around a small memory-wiping pill. Mr. Holmes needs an assistant, and Mr. Watson needs a companion. Little do either of them know how much they specifically need one another. [I wrote this when I was early in my teenage years. A dark secret that Sherlock can either let tear him apart or bring him closer to understand the John is the closest he will ever get to a friend. We all have a choices to make in life and I hope you all make the right ones. Dark secrets can make us crazy but then again so can love but this secret haunts Sherlock's life and every deduction he makes.

Sherlock has never believed in love, nor has he ever needed it. That has all changed now. He loves John Watson. He wants John Watson. It burns like fire, like heroin running through his veins. Not a desire. An addiction. Maybe it's just John. Maybe it's that intoxicating touch and empathetic demeanour. Maybe it's the way he cares so much. What makes Sherlock so addicted to John Watson? The man who's never wanted anyone now needs someone. Is it something he'll be able to handle?

Why did Sherlock do it? Was he depressed? I know I'm not a genius like him, but surely I would have noticed something like that - After all, I've been in love with the worlds only consulting detective since I first laid eyes on him.
