Ianto one of the most promising agent of Torchwood One was slowly climbing one by one the ranks of the angency, when The Attack happened.
However Torchwood One was not completely destroyed during Canar Warf's battle. 
But because of the small number of survivors and his heroic actions during the battle, Ianto ends up climbing the ranks faster than he thought. He is suddenly chosen by a seriously injured Yvonne Hartman to be her second-in-command. What will happen when Ianto Jones while performing his many duties as second in command for Torchwood One finally meets and butts heads with the attractive and mysterious leader of Torchwood Three, Captain Jack Harkness.
