After the final battle against Hawkmoth, Paris' superhero team finally defeat Hawkmoth and Mayura, taking their miraculouses - but at a deadly cost. The last anyone saw of Paris' beloved red-and-black superheroine was when she fell to her death in Chat Noir's arms, and her identity was revealed as 17-year-old Marinette Dupain-Cheng.
7 years later, the French superhero team have risen once again with their identities revealed to defeat Hawkmoth, when they revisit the Guardian Temple, a hierarchy with the masked Queen of the Guardians at the top. Asking for their help, the Guardians comply, but the superhero team seems to have weakened without their murdered leader, Ladybug. How will they hold their own against Hawkmoth without their friend and beloved superheroine?
