Avery Brekenridge is a twenty three year old fashion student living in California with her best friend and roommate, Sadie. Her life is seemingly perfect. She has an amazing family, friends who stand by her side, a boyfriend who could propose any day now, and a promising future career. Things weren't always this amazing for Avery, though.
At sixteen she was found in an alleyway and sent into the system with no memory of anything before waking up in the hospital the night shew as found. No knowledge of the world she lives in, past or present, and no memories of who she might have been. She is adopted and raised as an only child, but never remembers who she may have once been. She let's go of her past for seven long years until memories of a woman's face twisted in sadness and a man's voice telling her to never stop running starts to haunt her dreams.
She returns home to the small town she spent her remaining teenage years to ask questions about the night she was found. Her parents reveal a box to her that holds the contents of what she had on her the night she was found. She takes them up to her old room and that's where she discovers the strange objects that will unlock the key to her past.
