Maddie is a barista at a small cafe in downtown San Diego.  Cafe Nothing is where everyone goes; classy business men, laid back surfers, couples in the midst of a messy breakup... there's never a dull day at the cafe.  

And our main character - well, sort of main character - gets to experience a piece of each of these characters' lives.  The good the bad and the weird, Maddie sees everything.  

Maybe Maddie is just super imaginative, or maybe she has a knack for pegging peoples personal life.  But all of the patrons of Cafe Nothing have an interesting story.  And this is the story of Cafe Nothing.
