Most mafia stories involve a girl who is abused by her parents and dreams of her prince charming rescuing her, she works in a diner and it's love at first sight.
This story is different.
No girl likes being cheated on, so you can imagine Esta's devastation when she finds her boyfriend sleeping with her younger sister Milly.
Embarrassed and broken Esta moves in with her grandparents for a while in Italy. There she gets a part-time job at a zoo and even finds a cute guy to take her mind off of her ex-boyfriend, Tom.
Ethan Black hated women, after having his heart broken at stage 16 he vowed to never fall in love again, but when he and his nephew are visiting the local zoo he meets Esta, the girl who isn't afraid of him and treats him like a person.
