Harumi Michiko has lost so many people in her life. Her parents, so many comrades, and even children she treated as her own siblings. Deciding that she's finally had enough heartbreak, she closed herself off to the world, not wanting to hurt herself even more. She convinced herself that she was doing the others a favor. Working as a Demon Slayer, it was natural for them to lose their lives, and to do their jobs with their lives on the line.

But when she encounters Giyuu Tomioka, a man as equally as heartless and emotionless as her, will she be able to come out of her she'll and convince Giyuu to finally be himself?
