It's been at least a year since the events of Sokovia involving Ultron. The world doesn't easily forget, and neither does Adelaide Lehnsherr. 
 
When the world presents a solution to the Avengers, not to mention a way for Adelaide to clear her name of past events dealing with HYDRA and her secret love Bucky Barnes, she refuses. Instead, she leaves for Romania... to find an old friend.
