A Dream Your Heart Makes [Destiel]

Cas had one of those gazes that looked as if he could see into your soul, as if he knew something that you didn't. This unnerved Dean more than he would like to admit. Sometimes he would catch Cas staring at him at the most unusual moments, and other times Cas would look at Dean as if he were trying to tell him something, yet wasn't able to release the secret from his locked lips.

Dean was fine. He had to be fine. But the nightmares were getting worse and his headaches seemed to never cease. It had truly been a miracle that Dean had escaped Hell as he did, but the young Winchester couldn't help feeling that something was off about him. That something was missing.

There was a man, a figure that Dean couldn't quite make out. He was haunting Dean's dreams and he didn't know why. Nor did he understand the strange warmth that this man brought with him.
