The Eight Deadly Sins were known to be the most feared and powerful group of holy knights in the kingdom of Liones. Ten years ago, they were framed for the murder of the holy knight grandmaster and went into hiding. Now, they must reunite in order to save the kingdom from the approaching holy war.

The Seven Deadly Sins : The Ancient War Beast (Various x Reader)
In the past, when the Seven Deadly Sins were framed by the kingdom, a great holy war was fought out. However, the Sins weren't the only ones accused falsely of crimes. Many years ago, emerged the legend of the War Beast, a living being who was once apart of the Seven Deadly Sins but changed by the will of the gods yet soon disappeared right after that fate as the rumours were told. After the bloodshed, the sins dispersed and went into hiding. A few years later Princess Elizabeth seeks out to find the hiding sins after the sudden fall of Liones and the shocking corruption of the holy knights. But little did the princess know, far away, someone awoke from their slumber and is thrilled for a family reunion. The group of seven, known as the Seven Deadly Sins, went their separate ways as they fled their enemies. What the stories don't include is the Holy Knight Armella that fought along the Seven Deadly Sins with nearly as much power and strength as them. She was family and she ran to prevent herself of being used as bait against her family members. Now the princess Elizabeth is gathering the Sins to stop the Holy Knights from starting the Holy War. Will they succeed or will they fail and the world be plunged into darkness? And just which member of the Seven is willing to risk it all to get Armella back? The Captain, Meliodas The Dragon Sin Of Wrath, Ban, The Fox Sin Of Greed, Diane, the Snake Sin of Envy, or King, the Grizzly Sin Of Sloth? And where are their other three members? Merlin, the Boar Sin Of Gluttony, Gowther, the Goat Sin Of Lust, and Escanor, the Lion Sin Of Pride? Okay. I obviously don't own the Seven Deadly Sins characters and plot line. Rayne grew up having a hard time fitting in with those in her village. She was reserved and didn't interact with others well. So when she's betrayed by those she saw as friends she vows to never trust again. She learns how to protect herself through a ritual that draws out her hidden magic. Then one night while she's in the forest practicing her magic bandits attack her village killing everyone. That is the day Meliodas makes her a Sin. She finds a new home with the Sins but it doesn't last forever. Just when she thinks things are going good they're framed for the murder of Zaratras the Holy Knight Grandmaster. She goes into hiding like her fellow Sins until Elizabeth comes looking for them. This is a Meliodas X OC story. It is slightly dark with content that may be triggering to some readers.
