Thanos was the worst thing that happened to this universe for a lot of reasons. But the fact that it created this bond between people, locking them together, may be the only semi good thing to come out of it all. Some speculate it was the soul stone's prize for letting half the universe free again. Other's say it was a curse. Peter didn't really care what it was. It intrigued him, sure. But he didn't put a lot of energy in it. He was, most of the time, happy with his life. He still had nightmares, and flashbacks of the night on Titan. Of the day he returned 5 years later. Of the time he spent in the stone. Living there. Moving on. Just to be dragged back, right into another war. Seeing Tony, lifeless and burned. He still can't wrap his mind around how he even survived that. Thank every deity out there for dr. Strange and Wanda for whatever they did.

It's been almost two years since the defeat of Thanos & the effects of the snap was successfully reversed. The world has slowly picked up the pieces & everyone worked hard to resume their lives right off where the Decimation left them hanging. Some succeeded, as easily as pressing the play button after putting a movie on a long pause, while some were never the same again despite regaining everything and everyone they have lost. The Avengers were the lucky ones. Lucky enough to go back to their normal or fortunate enough to be given a fresh start. Tony & Pepper got married & jetted off in a private island to finally start their long overdue family life. Sam moved back to D.C & resumed his work at the VA. Rhodey continued working as a military consultant & Wakanda has never been more occupied as it became the number one tourist spot in less then a year. Clint went back to retirement tugging Wanda along with him to his farm where Laura welcomed her with open arms. Thor & Bruce were off-planet helping the remaining Asgardians settle on a new home. Fury rebuilt his super spy network with Maria overseeing operations at the Avengers Facility, recruiting, training a new breed of response team. And Steve finally got Bucky back & they have spent the past year back in Brooklyn, traveling the world once in a while & even participating in USO tours and fairs. Everyone tried to move on and rightly so because at the end of the day, that's pretty much what's expected of everyone after any tragedy. Natasha, too has moved on. The only problem is, she chose to move on alone. * I don't own any of these characters or wish to infringe on any copy or intellectual rights. I'm just someone who has a deep love for the MCU that I can't help but try to keep the story going, keep these characters alive in more adventures, especially with 'endgame' hovering, looming over us.*

The Woman in the Red Dress (Howard and Maria Stark One-Shot-- AU)

19 parts Complete

When part of the Avengers are thrown back in time find the Soul Stone, they encounter the wild truth about the what was SHIELD. A woman in a red dress takes them hostage, and their only hope is to be saved by Agent Carter and Howard and Maria Stark. During all of this, Thanos has followed them back, hoping to get into the Infinity Stone before anyone else, even if this means death. Legally, I do not own any of the characters or whatever. Note: I will state now that it will not all be correct, and in some aspects, I am glossing over things as well as rewriting events. I am focusing more on the movies and a little on "Agents of Shield." I do not mean to do this entirely, however to further the plot, it was necessary. I hope you can understand. Also, obviously, this does not follow "Infinity Wars" plot because it was written and published before "Infinity Wars" came out. This will written because I was sick and tired of Maria Stark having no backstory and was constantly there to further the plot points of males around her, in the comics and in the movies. While this is fictional and not based much on her character, I did try to keep it as close to the material I was able to find online as possible. Please leave any questions, comments or concerns that you have respectfully.
