Breathless

Maging masaya.

Yun lang naman ang gusto nya.
Pero parang sobramg hirap ma-achieve nun lahat.

"Doc? May kakapasok lang po na patient. May Myocardial infraction and Cardiac insufficiency po ." Sabi ng nurse

"Then prepare an er. Nagcardiac arrest na ba?" I ask

"Yes doc."

"Then, call Dr. Kael. Prepare for an operation. Tell him na may emergency operation tayo." Mabilis na sabi ng ko.

Naglakad ako sa hallway to reach my office.
But before i can open the door. A nurse in the station pop in front of me.

"Dra, someone is waiting for you inside your office. He said he needs to talk to you. We tried to reach out what do he needs but he keeps on arguing with us. Telling us na kailangan ka nyang makausap. But he dont have any appointment. He just said na kahit wala syang appointment basta po sinabi namin sayo na nandito sya, you will defini---"

Before she could finish her long narrative to me, I stopped her by asking.

"Who is he?" Agap kong tanong. Hindi sya sumagot agad so i ask her again. "What is his name?" I ask again.

"He is-" before she could finish her sentence, someone interrupted her by a baritone voice from my back which made me stiffened.

"Wala pa ba?" Parang naiinip na sabi nya. "Just tell the fuck on her that I'm here. I'm sure she'll come immediately." He said. Irritated.

I faced the person whose behind me. Then there! I saw the last person i expect to be here.

Am i dreaming?

He is actully here!

I stared at him on his face. Pinagaaralan kung may nagbago sa kanya.

"..."

Walang nagsalita. Nakatingin lang ako sa kanya.

I can't believe that I can see him again. After how many years? 7? Or 6? I lost count!

I can't believe that he still have a face to come back.....

After leaving me almost breathless.
