When I'll satisfy my thirst without drinking, and I'll be too tired to count the number of tears I've shed. When our power will fade in the floods of our pain, some of us will find refuge in the shadows and some will perish in the deserts.

Living in solitude, she fulfills her sacred duty, guiding the world through the turning of the seasons. Marcel, a god-blessed prince with the power to rule, has earned his right to the throne, but the horrors of war have kept him away from his kingdom for years. Now, with the battles over and talks of peace in the air, Marcel returns home to face an even greater threat-the Black Wake, a force born from the remnants of a fallen god, now ravaging his land. Marcel has one request, a favor long promised to him by Seren before the war began. Despite her reluctance and better judgment, Seren answers his call. With her own agenda, she steps out of hiding to face the darkness alongside him. As they confront the corruption and unravel its origins, the tension between Seren and Marcel grows. Their relationship becomes a dangerous dance of attraction and resistance. Marcel's commanding nature clashes with Seren's defiant spirit, but their undeniable chemistry draws them closer. Their powers-his dark, her divine-complement one another in ways neither fully understands, bound together by a prophecy neither can yet decipher. -ˋˏ ༻𖤓༺ ˎˊ- #maturethemes #darkfantasyromance #basicallyjustsmut (18+!!!)
