The Uber Driver

Everyone loves a fresh start, new air, new people, new home and job. Alice Pearce had a tough life and had a big break when she landed a job in the New York Police Department. Between a series of murders, false accusations, meeting an old flame and unraveling family secrets, her life is about to get more interesting or worse.

"You won't get away with this you know," I said as I tried to untie myself.
"Oh I can get away with anything, actually I have already," he said and paused, "not until you came along," he snarled and charged towards me.
I prepared myself for his attack when the unexpected happened.
