• In introducing Erik to Christianity in this fanfiction, I do not mean to play the part of God. "Fatal Flaw" is just a fictional story, and I really wanted to see Erik find the Light. In real life, however, only the Lord can make this happen.
• The characters in this story belong to their rightful owners (such as Gaston Leroux and Victor Hugo), not to me. All I've done is taken them and written a fanfiction about them.

The choices have been made. Erik let Christine and Raoul go. A falling chandelier caused a fire. The Opera Garnier went up in flames. Christine and Raoul try to get out of the opera as quickly as possible. Due to one impulsive decision, the engaged couple were separated by fire. With that, Christine was stuck in the burning opera house. Erik, suspecting that his beloved was left at the opera, does not hesitate and returns to find and save her.
