It's always been complicated. The battles. The wars. The fights. The fires. The scars. Nothing comes easily when you constantly have monsters on your tail.

Percy and Annabeth are ready for a break. They're ready to settle down, go to college, and get settled into adult life in New Rome.

Everything is perfect. They're all packed and ready to go, and excited to do so.

But something terrible and unexpected happens.

After receiving a prophecy was kept hidden, Percy and Annabeth are unsure of how long it will be before they can return from Camp Jupiter, or even if they should go. They begin to question their future, and what dangers it will bring to them.

But for now, all they can do is remain calm, and wait for a very special day to arrive.
