Eden was the center point of the world, a place where gods and man alike lived peacefully; until mankind forgot their gods, and began to worship their machines instead. The gods left them behind, moving the ethereal paradise out of reach. Many gods had given up on humans, letting them lay waste to the world. Not all of them agreed with this. When Maliah comes across one of the more optimistic goddesses, dying because of man, she is astonished to hear the not-so-immortal's dying request. Maliah must find the lost city of the gods, and somehow take the place of the dying goddess. Her quest will be far from easy, as she must face challenges both godly and of man.

The gods are watching. The past is bleeding into the present. And Zeph is running out of time. Two months after surviving his so-called ascension, Zeph is still piecing himself together. The voices in his head-one of them belonging to a long-dead god-haven't quieted. His nightmares are growing more vivid. And Astaroth... Astaroth is hiding something. When an old enemy resurfaces with a devastating truth, Zeph and Astaroth are thrust into a battle they aren't ready for. Chronica has returned, stronger than before, and she's not alone. As divine power begins to stir once more, the line between who they were and who they are now starts to blur. Zeph was never meant to survive. Astaroth was never meant to remember. And when fate demands its due, they may have to destroy each other to break free. What does it mean to be divine?
