**Third book to Things We Lost.**

The Hydra secret had been exposed to the world. S.H.I.E.L.D. is falling apart. After taking down Project Insight, Jessica Evans and Steve Rogers had parted ways with S.H.I.E.L.D., taking a break from the hero life. Their friend, and Hydra's weapon disappeared into the shadows. James Buchanan Barnes is a lost soul walking around D.C. with no memories and no idea of what is going on, until Jessie meets with him again at the Smithsonian. From there, she vows to help him become the person he used to be, meet new friends, love once more. But when an old threat comes back and spreads, the "Soldier's out of time" will have to assemble with the Avengers and their two new allies. What will become of Jessie and Bucky's relationship? How will things change when this threat spreads around not only the U.S., but the world?
