17 year old Zain Caliban lived a pretty lush life. With famous world renowned musicians as parents nothing seemed like it could ever go wrong. As long as he could still use his eyes and fingers. Zain has been a piano prodigy since the age of three. As a teenage composer, he quickly gained the attention of the music world. That is, until one day he goes missing without a trace and his mother the only eyewitness.


Leroi and his gang never expected to hit the jackpot when they decided to kidnap a kid from the street. But after discovering the seventeen year old prodigy, they just couldn't pass the opportunity up. And besides, Leroi has a personal grudge in the matter and plans to take revenge on the people who killed his family. So, he takes Zain's eyes and fingers away from him, leaving him blind, unable to play the piano, and begging to die. But as he slowly gets to know the prodigy, he begins to doubt his choices and starts questioning the feelings his brain may have just developed.
