A girl, raised in the forests of the kingdom of Verain, knows not of the outside world. Her name is Rune, a human child living among the arrogant Fae. Treated as trash, she must survive in her own way.

When she wakes up one morning bearing strange markings on her hands, she risks losing her life if she told anyone. She had the Mark of the Damned, which only meant she was descended from the Wiccans, a race of magical beings that had once destroyed her world, 300 years ago.

Now on the run from the only life she has ever known, Rune must rely on the skills acquired through her years, as well as the knowledge of a wanted thief, the power of a necromancer, and the skills of a healer-turned-smuggler.

With the rest of the Fae chasing her, a jealous Mage with a grudge wanting to sacrifice her, and the powers now swelling up inside of her, Rune must find herself the last remaining Wiccan in order to help stave the transformation she is going through, or risk losing everyone and everything.

(Book 1 in the 'Blood Drops' series) Five drops for the vampires who drink it. Four for the creatures who relish in it. Three for the strong who take it. Two for the weak who cower from it. One for the humans from whom it is taken. *** This book, along with all the others in this series, was written in a manic creative frenzy when I was about 11-12 years old. I do not consider it quality work, nor do I find it representative of my writing skills today. I will not take it down, because it is still fairly popular and I enjoy reflecting upon how I have developed my writing over the years. All I ask is that if you choose to read the book(s), please take into consideration that this was written by a tween many years ago, and that I am not the same person (or writer) as I was then. Thank you. *** 16 year old Felicia Winters had a life no one would be proud to call their own. No friends and a dysfunctional family; she had been bullied for most of her life. Until the day when she was captured by vampires, and sold to their prince, Braith. As a mysterious bond forms between them, they both deny it and refuse each other. But as Felicia drifts further and further from him, a rift begins to form within Braith, putting him and his entire kingdom- in fact, the whole world- at risk. But will she be able to love the man who has abused her so much? Or has she already found another love? And as a werewolf rebellion brews in the shadows, they are running out of time. Soon there will only be rubble left to rule over. Will Felicia be able to bring peace to the world, or will the kingdom crumble? For just one drop is never enough. Thanks for your votes and comments, they mean the world to me. Please help me with constructive criticism if you can! (Also, I suck at summaries, so sorry about that). Sequel 'Two More Drops' up now! Heidi and the Lord by Asher_Harry
10 parts Complete
Synopsis An adopted child, Heidi was a smart and obedient girl because she had to be. Used as a scapegoat by her family, she was sent to become the political bridge between two empires. Taken in by the House of the infamous White King, Lord Nicholas Rune, she would be cared for and supervised until her wedding with his cousin, Warren Lawson. A man whose gentle appearance and benevolent manner earned him the title White King of the Empire, Lord Nicholas was a man kindest to the souls around him. Very few knew about the truth that lay beneath his beautiful visage. Who could predict a little human girl would bring out the best and the worst of a noble pureblood? ----- "Now, tell me, Heidi, why do I have a bad taste in women?" As Lord Nicholas took a step forward, she took a step back. Heidi had said too much, and she regretted it. Would he let her go free? Gulping, she warned him, "What you're doing could be considered harassment, milord." "I wouldn't. I'd call it persuasion." He took another step towards her, his Oki frame towering over her. "I believe the dictionary in your library would disagree with you, milord." She retreated another step b ooack, shrinking away, hoping he would give up. "I keep the good one in my room. You can come to see for yourself if you don't believe me." Her back struck the wall behind her. "You haven't answered my question, Heidi." The Lord was too persistent, Heidi cursed to herself. He was unwilling to let her go.
