A young Ishvalan girl escaped the extermination of her village and finds herself taken in by an automail engineer and her granddaughter in Risembool. Overwhelmed with grief, she helps her new friends Edward and Alphonse collect materials for human transmutation and attempts to bring back her family. However, she ends up losing her hearing, and in helping Ed bring back Al's soul, loses her left arm.
How was she able to escape Ishval unnoticed?
Where will her journey take her?
Why does she feel so safe with Edward?
