Following the events of Big Picture Show, the Eds find themselves friends with the cul-de-sac kids, Double D now feels more at peace with himself, Marie however feels depressed and her sisters, determined to help, enlist Double D assistance. Unfortunately he doesn't know that. This is a Double D/Marie story.

The Sublimity of Peach Creek
Bonita Cabézon is the new kid in the Cul-de-sac. She seems to be awkward, shy, and nerdy. When she meets Double D, Ed, and Eddy, of course, she doesn't feel like the odd one out. Her gentle nature earned her the nickname Bunny. One day, in the middle of the school year, Bonita vanishes, but her house isn't vacant. 4 years later, a girl named Bonnie shows up in the Cul-de-sac, living in the same house that Bonita did. So who is this Bonnie, and why is she so short-tempered? Double D, now going by the name of Edd, except the kids in the Cul-de-sac still refer to him as Double D, befriends Bonnie, and struggles to get past her tough exterior. There's only one way to know who she really is. Old habits die hard.
