Jex is a murderer.  He thought that murdering Keyle would satiate his desire once and for all and he would be done. Unfortunately after this simple taste of death he's addicted. Like any good addict he can't get enough. Unfortunately his drug of choice takes planning and has risks that even he didn't imagine, but he doesn't care. He craves blood, craves the last breath of his victims, and he doesn't care whose next as long as it's as soon as he can get it.
