Sunshine Reigns

Every year, each of the humanoid planets in the United Universe selects two young adults to attend the Academy, a four-year program on a cruiser that travels through space. The students train with their humanoid peers to become ambassadors, tasked with ensuring the continued peace, harmony, and security of the known Universe.
Sunshine Blue Mountain from the peace-loving planet Baatar is one such student.
Just like any ordinary Academy student, in her second year at the Academy, Sunny found a holiday job aboard a trading spaceship, visited her web-toed friends on their watery world, dealt with mean girls, and fell painfully in love with the warrior-race boy with the striking blue eyes.
But now the known Universe is under full-blown attack, and the students have had to abandon their Academy ship. When Sunny and her friends finally encounter the greatest threat the known Universe has ever experienced, will their losses be bearable? Will her natural instinct to fight finally win out and change the course of the Universe?
It's a shocking way to start her third year at the Academy.
