Monster...
What is the image that came into your mind just now?
Tall creature terrorizing city.. Maybe?
But those types of monsters are just fictional of course..
But monsters do exist. Hiding among us. No they're not any superhuman species. They're just like you and me. And no I'm not talking about criminals or terrorists.
The monsters I'm talking about are normal people. Highly accomplished, charismatic, successful even.
Their crimes are not as high as suicide bombing, but that does not make them less evil.
They use their intellect to beat and control people to get to their one and only goal... Power.
The fact that such monsters come from normal, loving households gives one big, and disturbing revaluation though.
That evil... Is inherent. Some people are born with it just like some people are born with hight intelligence.
This story... Is about someone who was born with both of those things.

In a world where people can be born with a genetic mutation that gives them powers, surely you'd think everything would be like a comic book right? Well you'd be wrong. People born with this gene are called "Conduits", or Bio-terrorrists if your in the majority who hate them. With the death of his lover at the hands of a conduit during their escape from the D.U.P, will our protagonist fall to his anger and seek vengeance for his lover's death? Or will he prevail and choose to be the better man in a world where the better people are at risk?
