I due ragazzi, nonostante il loro forte legame, sono caratterizzati da ambizioni e ideali diversi: Oleandro è un cacciatore nato e ambisce a diventare più forte combattendo contro i Capipalestra; Rosa invece ha una grande passione per il canto ed è determinata a mostrare il suo talento nei Grand Operà Pokemon. Mentre i due allenatori iniziano il loro viaggio, anche misteriose e oscure forze si sono messe in moto!

The Sinnoh region holds many tales about the great and beautiful Cynthia, the reigning Champion. She was renowned for being a Dragon Master, and her Dragon-type Pokemon were enough to bring others to their knees. This Champion was known as the greatest trainer in all of Sinnoh and also as one of the greatest in the world. But what about her family? Vali, the son of Cynthia, is fifteen and doesn't have a Pokemon. From ten-year-olds to literal preschoolers, there seems to be no end to the amount of new Pokemon Trainers each day. Ever since that day when Ash Ketchum won against his mother in the World Coronation Series, when she started to show more interest in her duties as a Champion and as a Trainer than her own family, Vali started to dislike Pokemon in general, as they remind him of her. But when a fateful encounter with a Pokemon ends up saving his life, something lingering inside of him awakens and reminds him who he truly is. The world became plagued with a deadly deep-red, smoke-like miasma that devoured and corrupted all that was unfortunate in getting in its way. Because of this, most of the population was forced into multiple civilizations protected under highly defensive domes. But one city in particular, stood out more than the others. The largest protected bastion located in the region of Neo Radia. It's a region home to the strongest resistance, the Royal Guards; highly skilled Pokemon trainers who protect their dome civilization and find ways to be able to reclaim the outside world.
