When Gally gets left behind by the gladers, a group fighting against WCKD finds him and patches him up. In that group there's a girl, Finley, who's brother was taken by WCKD years ago, she thinks Gally might just be her ticket back to him - or at the very least help her get some revenge.
Some bits I made up to fill in the gap between the end of the maze runner and the death cure, but mostly follows the plot of the last movie.

(This is the 2nd part to my other story "The Maze trials: A Gally Fanfiction". Follow the journey of Eleanor, the only female glader, as she struggles to adjust to her new life in the Glade that takes her on a journey of love, loss, and friendship. (Gally x OC) Some notes to add: The central romance plot is between Eleanor and Gally but there is a subplot of Newtmas obviously. The story is inspired by the movies only, because the lore of the books goes quite deep and I don't think I will be able to write up to a standard that honors James Dashner's amazing legacy. Also, Eleanor is named after Eleanor Roosevelt which sticks to the idea that all main characters are named after famous scientists, inventors, and activists. Finally, this will be a three-part book for each movie and just to clarify, no smut!
