After Karasuno's match during the Inter-high the team decided to watch the girl's volleyball match despite Karasuno's girls losing after the first match. 
    
    Coincidentally, Aoba Johsai's girl's volleyball team was against Dateko's. When a specific person caught Karasuno's attention. She was fast, strategic, strong, and talented. She defeated Dateko's iron wall without hesitation in the first and second set.
    
    "二 (ni) 一 (ichi) or nichi - 日 (sun/day)" she was known for. She was notorious  for finishing the game in victory in the average of 2 out of 1 sets.  
    
    Due to some circumstances, she transferred from Aoba Johsai to Karasuno in her 2nd year of highschool, weirdly, she did not join Karasuno's girl's volleyball team, but instead, volunteered to assist the coaching for the boy's volleyball team with Keinshin Ukai.
    
    On her first day, the girl encountered Karasuno's regular setter, king of the court ― Kageyama Tobio. Contemplating in deep thought in front of the vending machine. Picking between milk and yogurt.
