We all were hiding in random places, apparently any place we could find. There were a ton of zombies, the whole place was full of them. Many people from our group were lost to the virus. Muffled voices, blurred vision and heavy breathes were heard. The ship which everyone had longed for soon arrived. The plan was to run to the ship and never look back. The ferry was anchored at the harbor and on the signal, everyone ran for their precious lives, not daring to look back. Some people couldn't make it in 'The End' . The ones who survived were the last of us. Will the people make it in time? What hardships will they encounter along the way? Jo's life makes a 180 degree turn as the sudden outbreak of the apocalypse occurs - for better or worse. While for most people a change like that is the absolute horror, for others it gives them the opportunity for a fresh start. A chance to discover completely new and different meanings of life. Especially when you meet others who have similar experiences in this new world. And perhaps it even gives you a feeling of belonging somewhere in a way you've never felt it before. (Jo is assigned female at birth but goes by they/them and is probably genderfluid or just kind of doesn't give a f about gender)
