"What the- ?!" I whispered but, even so, I managed to turn around quite a few heads. I gave an apologetic smile as my wings touched the clouds underneath me in embarrassment. I could feel the feathers brushing against my shoulders, which was annoyingly ticklish. Someone's arm was wrapped around me making me flinch.
"Alright people, the show is over." A male voice spoke closely and everyone went back to what they were doing.

Before I could move them, a horrid shot of pain ripped through my wing as I fealt it tear. I shrieked and whirled around as my wings deteriorated and hit the water first. My whole body trembled as I tried to stop the tear that's threatening to fall. I pulled my arm away from his grip not liking the way he held my arm tightly, but very gently. Like he was afraid to hurt me but he didn't want to let go. I shook my head mentally, my feet moving faster, away from the person that destroyed everything I've believed in for. "I'm sorry" I froze mid-step, icy cold sensation travelled to my spine and I can't seem to urge my limbs to move.
