Virgil has been degraded as long as he can remember, so warming up to the light sides is hard. It doesn't help that Patton is the only one who accepts him fully. But what happens when he is offered a chance to go back to how it was before? It could be the end to all his problems.

Treat others the way you want to be treated. That was the number one rule, the golden rule. It was the most important thing. It always had been. Ever since Patton was old enough to understand, that was what everyone told him. So, that's what he did. The feeling wasn't always reciprocated. Book One Book Two- Pride Book Three- Manipulation Thomas Sanders really tried his best to be the nicest, honest person he could be. But, ever since Dark Sides started showing up, he became even more confused. Virgil, on the other hand grew more anxious about the whole thing. He kept his one secret from the others. He used to be a Dark Side. Logan has his suspicions about that, but could never confirm it to be true. However, the Sides did know something about Virgil that Thomas does not. And one day, when the Dark Sides show up again. . . Virgil snaps. (Sorry for having no cover, but if you'd like to make one, I'd happily put it up and give you the credit :3)

Through the reveal of Remus, things between the sides have changed. Logan's advice to Thomas has been taken up by Virgil, talking to Patton and learning to grow as a side. All seemed to be going smoothly until Remus tells Roman something not so true ,and with a new dilemma facing Thomas, the sides are busting out the seems of their foundation to try and keep things together. But with a fallout between the repressed and furious feelings eating away at Virgil and Roman, a past that had never seen the light of day, and the wrath of the dark sides ready to break all that was built, the sides have to figure out a way to save all that they have. - #3 on #sanderssides 10-15-19 - I recently got into Sanders Sides and I needed to write a story with Virgil's past ASAP, I hope you enjoy it!

WARNING - I wrote this back in 2017, my writing is terrible (I didn't even know what 3rd person was). You have been warned. Its been a week since the Sander Sides video Moving On and Virgil has been feeling a lot more panicked than usual. Roman, Patton and Logan are starting to really worry about Virgil.
