Out of the Old || The Rini Series
Nini Salazar-Roberts was an overnight sensation. Her rise to fame started at a ripe twelve years old. She was taken from her simple life in Salt Lake City, Utah and moved to LA. Life changed for her pretty drastically and when she finally comes back home after six years for a talent competition she's hosting, she find that everything back at home has changed too. Ricky Bowen. East High's skater boy. His life was also turned upside down. With his parents going through a tough time and his best friend leaving him and never coming back, he's definitely felt forgotten. His world is shifted when that best friend comes back and their paths cross again. ____________________________________________________________________ This is a high school musical the musical the series AU. of course, you don't have to watch the series in order to understand the plot and enjoy the book! A New Friend
When a heartbroken Nini is finally ready to hang out with her friends again, she realizes it's going to be a lot harder than what she prepared for. Was she ready to see Ricky again? No, not at all. Was she going to let that stop her from having a social life? Eh, maybe. The last thing she thought of was meeting his newest friend that wasn't too friendly. I am obsessed with these people (if you couldn't tell); the characters and actors. Characters belong to Disney; the storyline is mine. New chapters every Friday starting May 8, 2020. Stars Are Stupid | Rina
(Completed) Ricky Bowen, still trying to get Nini back, believes he and Nini are meant to be, so he's surprised when Miss Jenn's instincts cast Gina Porter as his love interest in the spring musical. Gina doesn't believe in fate, nor has she ever been in love, two traits that clash with Ricky's current idea that his first love is his true love. When Miss Jenn tells the two leads to spend time together and get to know each other better, Ricky's perception of fate is challenged by a girl he kinda can't forget about. In the vibrant halls of East High, a new student arrives, bringing both excitement and intrigue to the lives of its students. Meet Aurora Porter, the spirited and talented twin sister of Gina Porter, who joins the High School Musical: The Musical: The Series (HSMTMTS) world. Upon her arrival, Aurora quickly befriends Ricky Bowen, a heartbroken yet charming teenager. Ricky's heart is still reeling from his recent breakup with Nini Salazar-Roberts, and Aurora can see the pain in his eyes. Despite her sister's lingering feud with Nini, Aurora sympathizes with Ricky's plight and genuinely wants to help him win back the girl he loves. With her compassionate nature and love for matchmaking, she devises a daring plan - to pretend to be Ricky's girlfriend to ignite jealousy and make Nini reconsider her decision to end their relationship. As Aurora and Ricky embark on their fake dating journey, they grow surprisingly close. Ricky's genuine vulnerability touches Aurora's heart, and she starts to see him in a different light. As the charade continues, they share laughter, secrets, and late-night conversations that slowly blur the lines between pretend and reality. However, as their fake relationship begins to feel more authentic, a whirlwind of emotions engulfs Aurora. Conflicted by her growing feelings for Ricky and her loyalty to her sister, she finds herself torn between the bonds of friendship and the promise of love. Meanwhile, Ricky, too, finds himself drawn to Aurora's infectious spirit and caring nature. He begins to wonder if he's been chasing after the wrong girl all along. As he navigates his own confusing feelings, he starts to question whether Nini is truly the one for him or if his heart has found a new home with Aurora. Cover by @moonwritez6Complete
