Connie is a mage in practice, being trained by a abandoned familiar, a pearl. You may be wondering, What's a familiar in this AU? Well a familar is when a mage, people born with a ability, can summon a gem from a very powerful spell, and due to level of power, depends on gem.
The gem levels rang from the lowest low to a ruby
To the highest high to a diamond!
These creatures are connected to you and will protect you, but when connie finally got a familiar, the one thing she's always wanted, things didn't go- very well.
